My
favorite people, places or things...
One of my favorite singer/Songwriters, Mike
Lasala is notorious for his upbeat live shows as well as his great,
hooky tunes.

Another amazing singer/songwriter, and an
all-around amazing person. He's the champion of the little guy and
writes some of the best songs you'll ever hear.

Mike Franzman is a renaissance man of sorts.
From Hardcore to Jazz, from Rock to folk, Franzman has done it all.
He has written jingles and comedy bits for radio and business and
has even scored soundtracks to independent films. He is one of the
most talented guys I know.

Dick Neal is the guru of guitar. A great songwriter in his own right,
Dick Neal is the ultimate professional. Whether backing other musicians,
playing solo gigs, or taking on the frontman role with his bluegrass
band "HOE" Dick is always a pleasure to watch.

I like to think of Shandy Lawson as the "Duke
of Disturbed". ...Or, try to imagine if Bob Dylan and the Grim
Reaper had a lovechild, then you might get the picture. In all seriousness,
Mr. Lawson is an award winning songwriter with a knack for getting
into the real grit of storytelling. His songs are masterfully crafted
and his albums are always critically acclaimed. His shows are not
to be missed.

James Velvet is the Godfather of the New Haven
music scene as far as I'm concerned. The man has been doing it for
a long time, trying to show us all how to do it right. His songs
are instant classics to the audiences that follow this incredible
songwriter, storyteller and performer.

The last stronghold in New Haven for great
local music. This place is sacred to New Haven bands. Known as the
musician's living room, anyone from the novice to the pro has an
opportunity to win over the audience at this venue that features
music 7 days a week.
